He was born Nov. 15, 1918, and was the son of the late Rural and Audie Bradley Johnson. He was also a veteran of World War II.
After he retired from Otasco, Mr. Johnson became a school bus driver for the Giles County School System and Martin Methodist College. He also worked at the MMC Christian Life Center and was inducted into the Giles County Babe Ruth Hall of Fame.
Funeral services were to be held today (April 4) at Carr and Erwin Funeral Home. Burial was to have been in Pisgah Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Pisgah Cemetery Fund.
Survivors include his wife, Anna Mae Minatra Johnson of Pulaski; three sons, Ronnie Johnson of the Bunker Hill community; Rex Johnson of Pulaski and Steve Johnson of Petersburg; three daughters, Dixie Holt of the Pisgah community, Delynn Johnson of Pulaski and Darlene White of Lynnville; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
