Eleanor G. (Wesoloski) Daujotas, 89, of Brookston died at Thursday, August 1 at Cumberland Point Health Campus.
Born February 7, 1924 in West Lafayette she lived most of her life in Tippecanoe County. She enjoyed spending her final years in Brookston.
Ellie graduated from Klondike High School in 1942 and worked as a secretary. She was an avid reader. She enjoyed feeding and watching birds, traveling, listening to classical music, going to theater performances, interacting with animals, growing plants, and collecting ginger jars. Ellie cherished the companionship of her beloved cat Gigi.
Surviving are her brother-in-law Gordon Bennett, step children Richard Daujotas (wife Clara) and Pat Bolden, grandchildren, Carolyn Klein Graham, Kimberly Erwin-Orrell, Christina Erwin, Melissa Borders (husband Brian), Will Eberly, Duane Daujotas, Joe Daujotas, Benjamin Daujotas, Martha Daujotas, Mandy Bolden, and Andi Bolden. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren Robby Orrell, Vanessa Wert, Corrine Wert, step great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren Ian J. Orrell, Rayna Wert, Raymond Wert, Kara Betten, Candace Betten and Jon Wagoner.
She was preceded in death by her parents Leo and Ottle (Johnson) Wesoloski, husband Ray Daujotas, sister Peggy Bennett, son Tom Erwin, daughter Vicky Erwin,step son Jim Daujotas, niece Karen Bennett Scheffee and daughter in law Linda D. Mullen Erwin.
