SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral services for Cecil Glen Adams, 89, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 13, 2009 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Bill Crosby and Dr. Murry Hodge. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, March 12.

Mr. Adams was born in Mansfield, LA on March 4, 1920 to Henry and Leo Adams. He passed away on March 10, 2009 in Shreveport, LA where he was a resident and member of Summer Grove Baptist Church. He was retired from Kast Metals. Cecil proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy.

Cecil was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Lilla Bea Adams; daughters, Pat Attaway and husband, Harold and Cheryl Phillips; grandchildren, Jonathan Attaway and Anthony Phillips.
