~Mrs. Nannie Mae Lynn Baker, 93, of Lancaster passed away Wednesday, July 31,
2013 at CMC-Pineville. She was born May 19, 1920 in Lancaster, a daughter of the
late Jack Lynn and Laura Addison Lynn. Mrs. Baker was married to the late
Woodrow Baker for 61 wonderful years. Mrs. Baker was a loving wife, mother,
grandmother, and friend who lived a long life to the fullest. She loved cooking,
gardening, and sewing, and was a long-time member of New Hope Baptist Church.

A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Baker will be held Sunday, August 4,
2013 at 2 pm at New Hope Baptist Church with the Rev. Patrick Clark officiating.
Burial will be in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Baker is survived by three daughters, Shirley Baker of Lancaster, Carolyn
B. Starnes and her husband Keith of Van Wyck, and Debbie B. Sowell and her
husband Mark of Lancaster; five grandchildren, Keith Starnes, Jr. and his wife
Lisa, Kyle Starnes, Mark Starnes and his wife Susan, Scott Sowell, and Stacey
Sowell Munn and her husband Brad; and six great-grandchildren, Kylie Starnes,
Allie Starnes, Megan Starnes, Michael Starnes, Nicholas Munn, and Natalee Munn.
She was predeceased by two brothers and two sisters.
