"Mrs. Olaf Aamodt passed away October 11 at St. Paul, Minn. She was well known and very popular in Flagstaff, where, as Miss Lura Blair, she was one of the teachers at Emerson school in 1918-1919. She was married to Olaf Aamodt in August of last year.
"The Minnesota Farm Review publication of the Minnesota State university, pays her touching editorial tribute, reviewing her life since her birth in Stockton, Calif., her work as teacher in the Normal school at San Francisco and as reconstruction aide during the war at Fort Bayard, and as teacher in Flagstaff, concluding with: 'The short year of her residence in St. Anthony park seemed like the sunshine of that perfect October day at the close of which she passed from our sight, so glad and radiant was her personality and charm.'"

Lura married Olaf Sverre Aamodt August 1920. Olaf was born. 8/9/1892 in St. Paul MN & died 6/6/1991 in Monterey, CA. Olaf married Monica Evelyn Jones 10/27/1923. One known daughter Phyllis Monica b. Edmonston, Canada. (from Stone Branches #47411175).
