Drew Wendell Allen, Sr., 23, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2001. Drew was born in Bowling Green, KY and was a 16 year resident of Jacksonville, he attending Terry Parker High School and graduated from Westside Skill Center. At the time of his death he was employed by Massey Services of Jacksonville. Survivors include his wife of 2 years, Jessica Allen; son Drew 'D.J.' Wendell Allen, Jr.; parents Susan and E. Wendell Allen, Jr.; maternal grandmother, Geneva Duff of Bowling Green, KY; paternal grandparent, Mr. & Mrs. E. Wendell Allen, Sr.; a brother, Michael C. (Tina) Allen; a sister, Andrea L. (Hector) Rodriguez; a nephew, Bram Allen, a niece Sadie Allen, numerous aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Friday in the chapel of ARLINGTON PARK FUNERAL HOME, 6920 Lone Star Rd., with Rev. Robert K. Nelson, officiating. The interment will be in Arlington Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00PM til 8:00PM Thursday (TODAY) at the funeral home.
