Funeral services were held at the Congregational Church, Uehling, with Rev. Darelle Barber officiating.
Mrs. LeRoy Buck, Mrs. Fred Butler, provided music with Mrs. Ivan Wedergren, pianist.
Pallbearers were: Walter, Elmer, John, Carroll, & Ray Larson, & Edward Realph.

Willie L. Lund
Willie L. Lund, for over 60 years a resident of this community,
passed away at the farm home of his brother, Andrew L. Lund, one-
half mile south of Uehling, at about seven o'clock on Tuesday
morning. Willie Lund, son of Mr. and Mrs. Larson Lund, was born
December 22, 1880, in the Swaburg vicinity and passed away November
10, 1942, at the age of 61 years, 10 months and 18 days. He never
married and most of his life was spent in the same community in
which he was born and where he worked at farming, during the latter
years for the brother with whom he made his home. Funeral services
will be held Friday afternoon at two o'clock from the
Congregational church at Uehling with Rev. Darelle Barber
officiating. Three brothers and one sister survive to mourn their
brother's death; they being Lars L. of Hooper, Erick L. of Burke,
S. D., Andrew L. of Uehling and Mrs. J. S. Johnson of Newman Grove,
Nebr. Interment, under the direction of Wollmer & Warne, will be
made in the Baptist cemetery near Uehling. Music for the services
will be by Mrs. Le Roy Buck and Mrs. Fred Butler, with Mrs. Ivan
Wedergren as pianist. Chosen to act as pallbearers are Walter,
Elmer, John, Carroll and Ray Larson and Edward Realph.
