Clarence G. Anderson, who states DOB as 1846, has a CSA pension application on line in the Georgia Archives Virtual Vault. He says he enlisted May 6, 1863 with Company A of the 7th GA Cavalry. He was detailed to the Signal Corps. On Dec. 13, 1864 he was captured at Ft. McAllister and taken to Point Lookout, Md. prison until the end of the war.
