Addie May (Gard) Ferguson 1885-1917

Addie Gard married Isaac Newton Ferguson in Jacksonport, Door, Wisconsin on April 6, 1904.
Their children were:
-Naomi May who died at age four of scarlet fever in 1909.
-Eleanor Mae "Elda" who married Perry Writt and later Mark Schlise.
George Ferguson who married Jeanette Swanson
Genivieve "Verda" died at age one in 1914.
Dorothy Murial who married Lawrence Zettel.

DEATH OF MRS. FERGUSON
Leaves Husband and Three Children, the Youngest A Baby, Besides Her Parents.
Addie May, wife of Isaac N. Ferguson for several years foreman for the Co-Operative Orchard company and at present in the employ of the Scofield company, died Monday morning at her home in the First ward.
She had been ill about a year, her condition gradually weakening. Last spring she entered the Maple Crest sanitarium at Whitelaw, Manitowoc county, remaining there until fall when she returned home apparently unimproved in health. She had been confined to her bed the two weeks previous to her death.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Moravian church. Rev. Helmich, and burial was made in Bayside.
Mrs. Ferguson was born on August 11, 1884, In Carrol county, Indiana, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Gard. Twenty-two years ago the family came to Door county and for many years lived at Egg Harbor, moving to the city about six years ago.
In April 1904 she was married to Mr, Ferguson who was also a resident of Egg Harbor, the wedding taking place at Jacksonport. Three children were born to them - Elda, George, and Dorothy, the oldest being 10 years of age and the youngest 11 months. Besides her husband and children Mrs. Ferguson is survived by her parents and two brothers, the brothers being Luther Gard of this city and Claude, postmaster of Egg Harbor.
Among those here to the funeral were Mrs. George Butler of Chicago and Mrs. Dan Riley of Indianapolis, Ind. sisters of Mr, Ferguson, and Mrs. George Robertson of Eau Claire, an aunt of the deceased.
