SANTA FE — Mrs. Brandi Marie Marcantel passed from this life Wednesday morning, February 17, 2010, in Pearland.

Born February 13, 1980, in Galveston, Texas, Brandi had been a lifelong resident of Santa Fe. She was a 1998 graduate of Santa Fe High School, had been employed as a waitress at Kelley’s in Pearland for 7 years and was of the Pentecostal faith. Brandi truly loved her family and was a fun loving and dedicated mother.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Eddie and Durlyn Nelson and Hollis Marcantel and is survived by her loving husband of over 11 years, Shane Marcantel; son Blane Marcantel; daughter Madisyn Marcantel; parents Debbie and Donnie Marcantel, all of Santa Fe, Steve and Jo Stroud of North Platte, Nebraska; mother and step father-in-law, Martha and Rex Bell of Waco, Texas; brothers D. J. Culbreth and wife, Becca of Santa Fe, Michael Stroud of North Platte, Nebraska; sisters Jennifer Orsak and husband, Charlie of Santa Fe, Michelle Stroud of Central City, Nebraska, and Karissa Stroud of North Platt, Nebraska; grandmother Mardell Marcantel of Angleton.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 20, 2010, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home with Mr. Mike Nelson and Mr. Neil Young officiating. Interment will follow at Hayes Grace Memorial Park Cemetery.

Casketbearers will be D. J. Culbreth, James Jackson, Robert Jackson, Clint Mancuso, Scott Mancuso and Donny Richardson.

Visitation will be from 5 - 8 p.m. Friday in the Parlor at the funeral home, 10412 Highway 6, (409) 925-3501.
