Mrs. Mathias, 52, Head of Metals Company, Dies
Mrs. Evelyn H. Mathias, 52, owner of Burgeson Metals Co., a Golden Valley wholesaling firm, died Friday.
She took over operation of the company after her first husband, Gunnard Burgeson, founder of the company, died nine years ago.
Mrs. Mathias, 6704 West Shore Dr., Edina, is survived by her second husband, James L. Mathias; a daughter, Gail Burgeson, Edina; two sons, Bradley Burgeson, Minneapolis, and Richard Burgeson, Edina; her mother, Mrs. Minnie Heuer, St. Petersburg, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Lake and Mrs. Hazel Smith, both of Cleveland, O.; and a brother, Robert Heuer, Hialeah, Fla.
Services were held today.
