Gertrude Wares, 85, of 822 Roosevelt Street in South Bend IN, died at 7:30 p.m. Monday in Healthwin Hospital in South Bend IN after a three-month illness. She had lived at South Bend most of her life. On 22 Dec 1909, in Kalamazoo MI, she married Clyde Wares, who died in 1964. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. William H. Massarand of Chevy Chase MD; a grandson; a great-grandson; and two nephews, James Anderson of South Bend and Richard Anderson of Tucson AZ.
