Ruth Napier, 92, of Vero Beach, died February 13, 2003 at her residence following a brief illness.
Mrs. Napier was born August 18, 1910 in Bremen, Alabama, and moved to Vero Beach 57 years ago, from Birmingham, Alabama. She owned and operated Ruth & Earl's Restaurant and the Lampost Lounge for 25 years.
Surviving are her daughter, Betty Wadsworth of Vero Beach, FL; grandson, Billy Wadsworth of Lawrenceville, GA; granddaughters, Rhonda Begens of Vero Beach, FL; Debra Dotson of Salem, SC; Teri Davis of Port Orange, FL; brother, Luther C. Freeman of Adamsville, AL; several nieces and nephews, 13 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
The Funeral Service will be 2:00 P.M. today at the Strunk Funeral Home with Rev. Bernie Davis, Pastor of Spruce Creek Baptist Church, Port Orange, FL officiating.
Interment will follow in Crestlawn Cemetery.
