Jack W. Rose died December 15th at St. Thomas Hospital, Nashville. The remains arrived in Decatur Sunday evening.
The funeral services of Mr. Rose of this city were conducted at the First Presbyterian Church, and interment took place at the City Cemetery.
Mr. Rose had been in ill health for some time, and at the time of his death, was in Nashville undergoing an operation to assist his eyesight. The result of the operation was apparently successful, but blood poisoning set in with fatal consequences.
