REIDSVILLE_ Gene Thomas Cranford, 48, died Friday.
A native of Bryan County, he lived in Tattnall County most of his life. He was an electrical engineer, a Vietnam Army veteran and a Baptist.
Surviving are two sons, Gene S. Cranford of Cartersville and Delbert Cranford of Glennville; two daughters, Melissa Moody of Ludowici and Amanda Cranford of Glannville; four sisters, Helen Thaxton of Brunswick, Robie Fort of Reidsville, Doris Beam of Buford and Rosa Lee Skinner of Gainesville; four brothers, Johnny Ray Cranford of Guyton, Julian Cranford of Hillsboro, Ore., and Dean and Jesse Cranford both of Reidsville; one granddaughter, Jessica Moody of Ludowici; two grandsons, Blake Cranford of Catersville and Thomas Moody of Ludowici.
Funeral: 3 p.m. today in Rimes-Stewart Mortuary Chapel, burial with full military honors in Little Flock Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
