Funeral services were held at the Holmes District church Thursday afternoon for Charles Henry Drost who was the youngest son of Mr. Albert Drost. Rev. Lawrence Kelley officiating. Three selections "Jesus Knows and Care," Death Is Only a Dream," and "We'll Never Say Goodbye" were sung by Mrs. Eugene Wright, Mrs. Roy Wright, Mr. Frank Chauney and Ned Wright. Charles Drost was born in Caribou on the 12th Day of March, 1914, and died at the Cary Memorial Hospital at 6 o'clock Tuesday monring, April 23, after a long illness of nearly two years. He leaves to mourn his loss, a father, Albert Brost, three brothers, Geroge and Burleigh of Caribou and Theodore of Springfield, Mass., also three sisters, Mrs. Morris St. Petter, Addie and Nettie Drost all of Caribou. The funeral pressesion was led by five of Charles schoolmates carrying the flower tributes, followed by the body carried by Richard Tracy, Billie Tracy, Raymond Watson and Herbert Wilcox. The Holmes District school attened in a body. Interment was made at teh Grimes Cemetery.
