William Robert "Bob" Campbell, 76, of 4390 Jordan Road, died August 6, 2005, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

A native of Greenville County, son of the late Horace and Annie (Wood) Campbell, he retired from the United States Air Force after 23 years of service and was a member of Highland Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Margaret (Stokes) Campbell of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Keith and Lyn Campbell of Greer, Jim and Denise Campbell of Campobello; two brothers, J.W. Campbell and Albert Campbell; five sisters, Emma Babb, Lula Mae Johnson, Ann Duncan, Cora Campbell and Hattie Campbell; grandchildren, Matthew and Jessica Campbell of Taylors and Austin and Evan Campbell of Campobello.

Funeral services were held at Highland Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Mickey Thomas and the Rev. Burl Ashley.

Burial followed in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Greer with full military rites.
