IN MEMORY OF JAS. TAPLEY

On Friday night, April 26th, Mr. James Tapley, aged 79 years, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. R.B. Murray, near Ohoopee. Mr. Tapley had a stroke of paralysis in June 1924 and had been practically an invalid since then.
His wife, who was before their marriage, Miss Sarah Beasley, and eight children survive him. His children are: Mrs. R.B. Murray of Ohoopee; Mrs. H.H. Lynn, Mrs. B.P. Lynn, Mrs. L.L. Lynn, Mrs. M.E. Tapley all of Collins, Mrs. J.C. Doris of Lyons and Mrs. J.B. Jarrell and Mrs. W.A. Tapley of Ohoopee.
He was a staunch member of the Primitive Baptist Church and lived a true sobur Christian life and firmly believed in the faith of the church of witch he was a member.
He was buried in the Little Flock cemetery after funeral services conducted by Rev. W.R. Wilkerson of Savannah, Ga and Eld. J.A. Brown of Collins on Sunday April 28th.
