Mary ws my great grandmother. She was born in Trabia Italy and came to America in 1899. Her father Stefano was a shoemaker. Mary was the 3rd child born to her parents-the last 2 were born in the USA. She lived her early years in Monroe, Louisiana, but came with her widowed mother and siblings to Jeanette, Pa in 1913. She was married that year to Alfonso Cancilla. They had 5 sons and 1 daughter.
