Adrianne F. Tengco, age 20, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2002. Adrianne is survived by her mother, Wilhelmina F. Tengco, father, Gregory S. Tengco, brother, Gregory F. Tengco, Dan Francisco and family, Froilan Francisco and family, Aileen Barretto and family, Hazel Trino and family, Eric Francisco and family, the Tengco family and her boyfriend, Bert Samson. Adrianne took on her scholastic journey with awards at Van Buren Middle School, in 1995, for outstanding scholastic achieving and excellence in science, outstanding accomplishment in Drama, excellence in Journalistic writing, exceptional writing in style and technique. Adrianne was elected a member of the National Honor Society, based on Scholarship, leadership, service, character and citizenship. In 1996, Adrianne was awarded the Presidents Education Award for outstanding academic Achievement. At Sandia Prep High School, she lead the Sandia Prep group to represent Zimbabwe at the model United National Symposium in Berkley, CA. After graduation, she promptly went to UNM to pursue Pre-Law. Adrianne was elected to membership in Phi Sigma Tau, International Honor Society in Philosophy and General Honor Society. Adrianne aspired to be a good, effective lawyer someday, Above all, Adrianne is a daughter any mother could ask for, her tenderness, her unspoken empathy, and her devotion. Adrianne was gifted with beautiful and endless curiosity for the meaning of life, its paradoxes, its ironies, yet, Adrianne searched for what the truth about life is, this search was stifled by living a life that lived before her time. Adrianne lived her twenty years of life her way. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday May 18, 2002 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 1800 Martha NE. Viewing will be held at Aspen Funeral Alternatives Chapel on Saturday from 12:00 noon until 5:00 p.m. and again on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
