Margaret Mason
DENISON - Margaret Mason passed away peacefully at her home in Denison, Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2013, from a brain tumor and a lung infection called MAI.
Mrs. Mason was born Oct. 2, 1924 in Whitewright. Margaret was an active member of Southside Baptist Church, whose members we wish to thank for their prayers and concerns, and especially three of the members, Joyce Duckett, Bill and Pat Vandever, pastor Keith Taylor, and the Guardian Hospice nurse, Shelley Stratton, for their help and support during her lengthy illness. Also special thanks to Encompass Home Health and Guardian Hospice and the aides and other workers, who were very helpful during this difficult time.
Mrs. Mason is survived by her two children, Jeanne Clevenger of Las Cruses, N.M. and Tom Alexander of Granbury, and their families. Also her husband of 43 years, Jean Mason, and his two children, Jeff of Mansfield and John of Jacksonville, Fla. and their families.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 9, 2013 at Southside Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman. No set time for family visitation.
