Amy A. Engelbrecht, age 22, of 911 Koeppel Lane, Manitowoc, died peacefully at home Wednesday evening, August 7, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. Amy was born in Green Bay on July 5, 1991, the daughter of Scott and Lori (Anhalt) Engelbrecht. She attended T.R.C.C.S. grade school and graduated from St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic School. She then attended Roncalli High School, graduating with the class of 2010. Amy worked at Harmony House, and also on her grandparent's Homestead Range Dairy Farm. She enjoyed taking care of animals and exhibiting her arts & crafts at the Manitowoc County Fair. Amy was a former member of the Tannery Stars 4-H Club; she also loved camping, boating, fishing, scrapbooking, cooking, gardening and country music.Survivors include her parents, Scott and Lori Engelbrecht; one brother, Joseph Engelbrecht and special friend, Brooke DeNoyer; her maternal grandparents, Jim and Carole Anhalt, Town of Manitowoc; and her aunts and uncles which include: Godparents, Scott and Angie Anhalt, Manitowoc, Judy and Steve Rueckl, New Franken, Joel and Patricia Engelbrecht, Manitowoc. She is further survived by special cousins: Ashley, Alex, and Crystal Anhalt; Sandi and Pat Hartlaub & family; along with several great aunts, great uncles, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Alfred and Evangeline Engelbrecht.Funeral services will be held at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, 3218 Tannery Rd., Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Tom Reynebeau, with burial to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.
