HOLD FUNERAL RITES HERE FOR MARS. IRA HATFIELD
Funeral services were held here Monday at 3 p.m. in the Methodist Church for Mrs. Beulah Cady Hatfield, who died Friday at the St. Louis hospital, St. Louis, Missouri, after a short illness.
The funeral sermon was by the Rev. A. E. Nelson of the Federated Church of Corning and burial was in the Villisca Cemetery. The pall bearers were Willis McAlpin, George Carmichael, Jas J. Walter, Victor Else, Clyde Spring, and Fred Fisher, and the singing was by Mrs. Icle Fisher and J H. Todd, with Mrs. J. L. Wheeler at the organ. The body arrived here Monday morning and was taken to the Sutphen Funeral Home where it remained until the hour of the funeral.
Beulah Cady, daughter of Warne and Bertha Cady, was born in Villisca, September 8, 1905 and was 37 years old at her death. She was married in Colorado June 30, 1928 to Ira Hatfield and to them one daughter, Patricia Hatfield of Webster Grove, Missouri was born. Besides her husband and daughter, Mrs. Hatfield leaves her mother and four sisters, Mrs. N. A. Magnusson, Mrs. Ted Anderson, Mrs. Darwin LeLong, and Miss Ethel Cady; four brothers, Glen, Walter, Herbert, and Dennis Cady. The deceased was a member of the Methodist Church.

Beulah May Hatfield was born September 8, 1905 in Guss, Adams County, Iowa to Stephen Warner Cady and Sarah Bertha Cady. She married Ira Hatfield on June 30, 1928 in Adams County, Iowa. She died March 26, 1943 in the Deconess Hospital in Saint Louis, Missouri at the age of 37 years, 6 months, 18 days of a hemorrhage. She was buried in Villisca, Rose Hill Cemetery on March 29, 1943.
