Mary Jane and Lyman were farmers, living at Williamstown, Vermont, on the height of land, on the east side of the road connecting the hill and quarry roads to Washington, VT. They both died there. She lived with her children William and Millie the last years of life, during which time she was an invalid. Her children gave her loving care. They were Universalists, and Lyman was a Republican. Mary Jane and Lyman were married Sept. 6, 1853 in Williamstown, VT.
