Mrs. Abbenhaus passed away suddenly at her farm home of a cerebral hemorrhage, October 22, 10 months after the death of her husband.
Margaret Wagner was born near Creighton, Sept. 11, 1874, the daughter of John and Lydia Wagner.
On May 22, 1900, she was united in marriage to Frank Abbenhaus of Bloomfield.
Except for two years at Winnetoon and 12 years at Gregory, S.D., she spent her married life on the Abbenhaus farm, where she went as a bride.
Mr. and Mrs. Abbenhaus celebrated their golden wedding, Mayu 22, 1950. Eight children were born to them.
Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Tom Beckers and Mrs. Don Petersen of Gregory, S.D Mrs. Joe Buckley of Sioux City, Ia., Mrs. William McGinley of Compton, Calif.and sons, Leonard and Francis of Bloomfield and Gerald of Hopkins, Minn.
