Debra Lynn Gaspard, 61, a resident of Tiki island, TX and a native of Lake Charles died Thursday, August 08, 2013 at her home comforted by her husband.
Debra Lynn Gaspard was born to Beverly Romero and Nadel Gaspard on October 31, 1951. She was a member of the Catholic faith. She graduated from LaGrange High School and McNeese State University. She was a valued employee of Glaxo, Smith and Kline. Debra was full of life and always had a smile. Her last act of love was to donate her body to the Univesity of Texas Medical Center. She was always grateful for her life, family and friends. She lived life to the fullest and always looked forward with great plans.
She leaves to cherish her precious memory: her husband of 24 years, Stephen S. Adams of Tiki Island, TX, father, Nadel "Ace" and mother Beverly Gaspard of Lake Charles, five brothers, Greg Gaspard and wife Donna of Lake Charles, Doug Gaspard of Lake Charles, Mark Gaspard and wife Lori of Lake Charles, Todd Gaspard of Lake Charles, and Brent Gaspard and wife Kelly of Ohio. Debra doted over her numerous nieces and nephews: Heather Yeates and husband Paul, Cody Gaspard and wife Kelly, Brett Gaspard, Grant and Zach Gaspard, Monique Vick and husband Gabe, Lance Gaspard and wife Anna, Remington and Keziah Gaspard: great nieces and nephews Alivia, and Kenner Gaspard, Gracie and Chace Gaspard, and Keagan Yates.
Debra is preceded in death by her grandparents: Raymond and Telice Gaspard and sister in law Cyndi Gaspard.
A memorial service celebrating the life and love of Debra will be held at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at 6:30pm with Reverend Wayne LeBleu officiating. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made in Debra's memory to the American Cancer Society.
