Son of the late Clyde L. Anderson and Elizabeth Portman Anderson, he was a 33-year veteran of the United States Air Force. After retirement, he worked in watch repair. He was a Mason. He was a member and past elder of Central Christian Church in Orlando, FL, where his funeral was held on August 10, 2013, with The Rev. Thomas A. "Tuck" Norvell, Jr., officiating. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Kathleene Collins Anderson, and by his second wife, Jane Flecker Anderson. Additionally, he was preceded in death by a brother, William Anderson, and by a sister, Barbara Doty. He was survived by his son, Clarence Carson "Kit" Anderson, Jr. (Barbara); grandsons, Kevin Anderson (Patricia), Keith Anderson (Louise) and Kirk Anderson (Jennifer); great-grandchildren, Georgia Faith Anderson and Ava Ann Anderson; and an extended family of relatives and friends.
