Dorothy L. Fox Gooch, 86, of St. Clairsville, died Sunday, December 21, 2008 at East Ohio Regional Hospital in Martins Ferry.
She was born May 25, 1922 in Warnock, Ohio, daughter of the late Alfred and Ada Talbott Fox.
Dorothy was a homemaker and a member of Thoburn United Methodist Church in St. Clairsville where she was a member of the Carpenters Sunday School Class and United Methodist Women Isabella Thoburn Circle.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas Gooch in 1998; three brothers, William, Kenneth and Tommy Fox; and a sister, Virginia Pickett.
Surviving are two sons, Larry T. (Marnice) Gooch of Bellaire and Curtis (Carolynn) Gooch of East Liverpool; a daughter, Patty (Vic) Wilson of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania; five grandchildren, Zachary (Mandi) Gooch of St. Clairsville, Jocelyn (Dave) Hevel of Clairton, Pennsylvania, Derik Wilson, Brian Wilson and Justin Wilson all of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania; two great grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, where services will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m., with Rev. Dr. Bradley Call officiating.
Burial will follow in Belmont County Memorial Park Cemetery.
