Mrs. Agnew, Winamac Dies
WINAMAC — Mrs. Emma Loraine Agnew, 91, died at midnight Tuesday at the home of a daughter Mrs. Ethel Troutman, route 4, Rochester.
A native of Cass county, she was born Nov. 8, 1867, the daughter of Jasper and Amanda Brown. She was the widow of Frank Agnew, who died in 1933.
Mrs. Agnew belonged to the Winamac Christian church and was a charter member of the Monroe township Home Demonstration club No. 1.
Surviving along with Mrs. Troutman are three daughters. Mrs. Fay Smith, Winamac, Mrs. Ruth Saylor, Las Vegas. Nev., and Mrs. Lucy Cullen, Helena, Mont.; two sons, Sam, of Culver, and Gordon, Santa Cruz, Calif.: 29 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Fry and Lange, funeral home in Winamac. Services will be there at 1:30 p.m. Friday, with the Rev. C. D. Barringer officiating. Burial will be in the Crown Hill cemetery.
