POLICEMAN DRUMMY DIES
Policeman Michael Drummy died last evening at his home, 3012 South Eighteenth street. He had been sick since April. In May he did a little work, and was then confined to his bed, from which he never rose. He leaves a wife, a son and two daughters. Michael Drummy was appointed a member of the police force in 1889, when he was 42 years of age. He served continuously from that time on, and was considered one of the most efficient policemen in the city. He will be buried at the expense of the Police Relief association.

LAST HONOR TO M. M. DRUMMY
The funeral of Patrolman Michael M. Drummy was held from the late residence, 3018 South Eighteenth street, to St. Patrick’s church, at 9 o’clock this morning. Father Smith delivered an impressive sermon. There was a very large attendance. Three platoons of police with Captain Mostyn and Sergeants Whalen, King and Iler in command, attended.
The casket was surrounded with numerous floral tributes, among which was one, “Gates Ajar,” given by the police, with whom Mr. Drummy had been associated for ten years up to the time of his illness last March. A number of the members of the Ancient Order of United Workmen were also in attendance. The interment was at Holy Sepulchre. The pallbearers were Patrolmen Boyle, Ryan, Kissane, Dillon, McCarthy and Fahey.
