James W. Hall Sr, 68, of Kiel, passed away peacefully, Tuesday morning, August 6, 2013 at Willowdale Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, New Holstein.He was born August 22, 1944 in Manitowoc, son of the late Vernon & Angeline (Meyer) Hall.Jim was a 1962 graduate of Lincoln High School, Manitowoc.He had been previously married to Sharon Macia, Christa (Weller) Riesterer and Kim Lau.Jim had worked at Tecumseh Products, New Holstein for over 40 years retiring as a production scheduler/shipping supervisor.He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, socializing, hunting, traveling, pontooning, golfing, snowmobiling and shooting pool. Jim had a passion for old cars. He also loved spending time at his cabin up north with his buddies.Jim was always fun to be around. He was the master of the joke. He was a friend to all who knew him and would give you the shirt off his back. You would never forget his million dollar smile. He was a member of the Tecumseh Machinist Union, New Holstein Lions Club and a charter member of the Kiel Pool League.Survivors include his children: Amanda (Shannon) Walsdorf, Kiel, James Hall Jr, New Holstein, Waldo (Lisa) Riesterer, Neenah, Michelle (Lisa Strub) Riesterer, Madison and grandchildren; Gillian Walsdorf, Cody Friend, Breanna Riesterer, Ryan & Megan Vilmain. He is further survived by his brothers & sister, Richard Hall, Jean (Tom "Scott") Mulhaney, Jack (Mary) Hall, sister-in-law, Janice (Gerald) Keehan, lifelong friends, Harry & Carol Demell, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Donald Hall.Funeral services for Jim will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, August 9, 2013 at St. John United Church of Christ, 2111 Church St. New Holstein with Rev. James Werner officiating. Cremation will follow the service.
