Nancy L. Amerson, 74, of the Point/Shoreland Community, entered Heaven on Sunday, August 11, 2013. She was born in Louisville, KY on July 17, 1939, to the late John C. and Thelma (Wilcox) Payne. She was a member at Cross Point Community Church. Nancy worked for Good Will Industries as an Assistant Evaluator for 13 years in the downtown location where she truly enjoyed helping others. She took pleasure in spending times outdoors drinking in the marvels of nature, crocheting and reading filled her time as well. However, her greatest joy in life and most important function was to spend quality time with family and friends.

Surviving are her children, Lee Amerson and Chris (Robert) Putterbaugh; grandchildren, Robert, David, Shannon, Sarah and Bryan, along with other family and friends. She was welcomed into Heaven by her beloved sister, Karen Parker, along with other family members.

Memorial Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2013, from 5-7 p.m. at David R. Jasin-Hoening Funeral Home, 5300 N. Summit St., Toledo, OH 43611 (419.726.1583) with the Memorial Service beginning that same evening at 7 p.m., with Pastor Michael DeLong officiating.
