Brillion – Mrs. Elizabeth Reuther, 71, nee Elizabeth Bruss, a former Brillion resident, died Thursday at St. Mary's home at Manitowoc, where she had been a resident for the last four months.

Mrs. Reuther was born in Kiel Jan. 2, 1867. She was married in 1887 to Louis Reuther in Kiel, and the couple came to Brillion where they have resided for many years. Mr. Reuther died 15 years ago, and since that time, Mrs. Reuther has resided with her children until four months ago when she became a resident of St. Mary's Home at Manitowoc. Mrs. Reuther was a member of the American Legion auxiliary and the Royal Neighbors of America Chapter at Brillion.

Survivors are five daughters, Mrs. Norma Cox, Mrs. Henry Vogt, Jr., Mrs. Frank Kuhnel and Mrs. Victor Hermans all of Manitowoc, and Mrs. Serena Munth of Detroit; six sons, George, Peter, and Raymond of Detroit, Mich; Henry Manitowoc; Carl of Hayton and Aaron of West Allis; four brothers, Philip Bruss of Kenosha; August of Unity; John of Manitowoc and Henry of Reedsville; three sisters, Mrs. Edward Beyer of Peebles; Mrs. Edward Parinar of Racine and Mrs. Godfried Struck of Fond du Lac. Twenty-seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
