Everette Luther Caughron, 90, of Randleman passed from this life on Monday, August 12, 2013 at Woodland Hill Care & Rehabilitation, Asheboro.

Mr. Caughron is preceded in death by his wife Arlien Adams Caughron.

In his 90 years, we was a friend to many and known as a loving and devoted husband, father, brother and uncle. He was a World War II veteran, a faithful member at Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church, a talented master carpenter in which he helped build many homes throughout Randolph County and was also retired from Lowe's Foods in Randleman.

He is survived by his daughter: Denise of the home; son: David and his wife Annette of Randleman; sister Wanda Long of Keystone Heights, Florida and many special nieces, nephews and extended family.

The family will receive friends Thursday, August 15, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. A celebration of his life will be held Friday, August 16, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church, 119 W. River Drive, Randleman with Rev. Carol Hunter presiding. Internment will follow at Old Union United Methodist Church Cemetery, Sophia with military honors provided by the Randolph County Honor Guard.
