HOWAT, Shirley Lee (Day), Loving mother & devoted daughter passed away June 13th 2009 at Long Beach Memorial Hospital. She was Born July 18, 1931, in Newport Beach, CA and graduated from Poly High School in Long Beach CA in 1949.
She married James C. Howat, 13 Jul 1957 at Palos Verdes, CA which ended in divorce. She is survived by her children, Jim Howat (Linda) & Kathleen Howat; her mother, Dorothy Ritchey Day McCutchen; and her two grandsons.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 20, 2009 at 3pm, All Saints Church in Long Beach. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society or Friends of the Long Beach Library.
