Helen Frances (Nunn, Stephens) Karlovich, 90, passed away peacefully at home on August 9, 2013. Helen was born on January 10, 1923 to Joseph Leo Donnelly and Alma Henrietta Frost in McCormick WA. She was a bookkeeper for her first husband's concrete business. She was employed at Growers Equipment, Advance Cooling, Skyview Cooling, and AMF Inca Lanes. Helen was a member at First Southern Baptist Church in Yuma where she sometimes played the organ and piano. She attended Immanuel SBC and most recently Morningside SBC. Helen loved her family most of all, she loved to travel by car, to bowl, and dance. She was a big part of the youth bowling in Yuma for more than 40 years. She touched many lives and will be dearly missed. Helen is survived by her sons; William Stephens and Robin Karlovich, grandchildren; John, Carla (Dennis), Terry, Leslie, Billy, Michael, Nikki, Joshua, 22 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren, and four nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands; Leslie Nunn, William Stephens, and Robert Karlovich, son; Gary Nunn, daughter; Carmen Nunn, brother; David Donnelly. Pallbearers will be Robin Karlovich, John Cordero Torres, Jose Cordero Torres, Terry Cordero Torres. Services will be at Morningside SBC on August 17, 2013 at 10 am and final resting place will be at Desert Lawn Memorial Park. Memorial donations can be made to Hospice of Yuma in the name of Helen Karlovich or to the Helen Karlovich Scholarship Fund for youth bowlers through the Yuma USBC, 1040 Lakeside Dr. Yuma AZ 85365.

Helen Frances Karlovich, 90, of Yuma died Aug. 9, 2013, at home.

A bookkeeper, she was born Jan. 10, 1923, in McCormick, Wash.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Morningside Baptist Church, with graveside services at 9 a.m. Monday at Desert Lawn Memorial Park.

Yuma Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

A. David DONNELLY 1925 - 2007
A. David Donnelly passed into his Lord's presence March 5, 2007 at home in Vancouver at the age of 81. He was born November 3, 1925 in Seattle, WA. He spent most of his young life in King and Kitsap Counties. In 1951 he married Rosa Kolb in Sacramento, CA. He graduated with a BA in 1953 from the University of Pacific. David became a Deputy Probation Officer in Monterey County, CA and moved on to be an Adult Probation Officer in Los Angeles and Glendale, CA. He entered the ministry in 1960 as a youth pastor and moved to South San Francisco in May of 1962 to become Pastor of Westside Baptist Church until 1972. He came back to the Northwest and pastured at the Glisan St. Baptist Church from 1972 to 1982. Davis then became a prison Chaplain from 1982 until 1988 in Ohio. He re-entered the ministry in Ohio until 1990. He then became involved with the Ministers At Large with the American Baptist Church, including interims at Camas, until 2004 when he moved to Vancouver. David loved to travel including trips to the Caribbean, Hawaii and Mexico as well as countries in Europe.

He is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 56 years, Rosa Donnelly of Vancouver; three sons; Paul (Susie) of Arlington, VA, Kurt (Ellen) of Herndon, VA, Mark (Debra) of Sherwood, OR; sisters, Helen KARLOVICH and Shirley Deardorff both of Yuma, AZ and 10 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be Saturday, March 10 at 11am at the Proebstel Evangelical Free Church in Vancouver, WA. Inurnment will be private at the Camas Cemetery. Straub's Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas was in charge of the arrangements.
