Mrs. Watters, 63, Dies After Illness

Mrs. Ola Watters, 63, wife of Charles E. Watters, died Wednesday evening at her home, 128 S. 6th St., following an extended illness. Mrs. Watters was a native of Grant County and had resided in New Castle for the past 15 years. She was a birthright member of the Friends church in Grant County.

Besides the husband, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mary Myers of Peru and Mrs. Omer Boyles of New Castle; five sons, William L. Watters and Homer Watters of Muncie, Marion Watters of Three Rivers, Mich., Neri Clifford Watters and Mahlon Edgar Watters of New Castle; a sister, Emma Forrester of Wabash County; a brother, Mahlon Hodson of Grant County; and 24 grandchildren.

The body has been taken from the Main and Sons Funeral Home to the residence where friends may call after 7 o'clock this evening. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday morning at 10:30 o'clock in the Church of God, S. 18th and Walnut Sts., with Rev. Herman Ast officiating. Burial will be in South Mound Cemetery.
