Marlene worked as a cashier for 23 years and is known for her smile and love of people. She also enjoyed bingo, reading and fishing. Thank you for all her dear friends this past year who prayed and cared for her.
Surviving are Delbert E. Riske of Harrison-husband of 54 years; three daughters; Cindy (Chuck) Hinman of Gladwin, Linda (Hugh) Oliveto of Simi Valley, California and Sandy (Mike) Scherrer of Harrison, one brother, Stanley Silsby of California, two sisters, Rosalyn Davis of Dansville and Phyllis Clark of Lansing and seven grandchildren, Christy Hinman, Jaime Hinman, Dante Oliveto, Amanda Oliveto, Adam Scherrer, Jessica Scherrer, Steven Scherrer.
She was prededed in death by her father, Forrest Silsby, mother, Cereita Hosford, sister, Jean Silsby and grandson, Joseph Delbert Oliveto.
According to her wishes, she was cremated.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Marlene to the Pardee Cancer Treatment Fund of Clare County, Clare, Michigan.
Memorial services for Mrs. Riske were held on Saturday, March 12, 2011 from Trinity Christian Life Center, Harrison with Pastor Dennis Feuerstein officiating.
