A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off for Olivier B. Angelette, 93, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Cut Off, who died at 10:25 a.m. Jan. 11, 2000.

Visitation will be 5 to 10 p.m. today and 8 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Samart Funeral Home in Cut Off.

Burial will be at the church cemetery.

He was the father of Vergis A. Pitre, Theresa LeVasseur, Irma A. Dupont, Doris A. Begnaud and Audrey Veazey; and brother of Olivia Toups. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and five
great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Nolia Terrebonne Angelette; second wife, Odile Blanchard Angelette; parents, Emile and Marie Perrin
Angelette; son, Leo Angelette; daughter, Olivia "Tut" Lefort; and seven brothers and sisters.

He was Catholic and a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

He was a lifelong trawler of the Lafourche area.

Samart Funeral Home of Cut Off is in charge of arrangements.
