JOHN STANGEL

John Stangel, 74, brother of Principal C.G. Stangel of Lincoln High School, passed away Thursday at Forth Worth, Texas where he has been living a retired life for the past several years. The deceased removed to the south in 1897 from Tisch Mills, where he was born and reared. He was engaged in farming in the Yazoo Valley of Texas until he retired. Burial took place in Texas.

The deceased was married at Stangelville to Miss Janda of Franklin, Kewaunee Co., and she survives him with five sons and five daughters, all residents of the South at the present time.

He is also survived by five brothers, C.G. Stangel of this city, Frank of Oklahoma, Joseph of Two Rivers, Wencel and George of Tisch Mills and one sister, Mrs. Mary Riha of Carlton, Kewaunee Co.
