Anna Belle was named after her Aunt Sadie Belle LANE RICHEY and was her father's delight until his tragic death in 1938. She married Doyle G. RUTHERFORD before 1947 and they traveled around on construction jobs, mostly in California. They had no children, and she had a rather sad life, with little love. She had special love her niece Billie June RICHEY (ASHLEY)(HAMMOND) b 1922, who was like a sister. Anna Belle died with heart disease, like her RICHEY siblings. She was only 51 years old.
