Mrs. Lorena Mae Adams, 71, of 203 Chestnut Street, Minerva, died Tuesday afternoon in Timken Mercy Hospital after a long illness. Born at Kensington April 21, 1906, she was employed at Alliance City Hospital until 1939 and after she received her teaching certificate from Kent State University, taught in the Carroll County school system. She was a member of Scroggsfield United Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her husband, Irl; two sons, John C. of Malvern and William Adams of Canton, and three grandchildren. Services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. in the Bartley Funeral Home at Minerva with Rev. Carroll C. Meyer officiating. Burial will be in Scroggsfield Cemetery.
