Alice V. Blew Willems, 84, died Friday, August 16, 2013. She was born March 3, 1929, at Moundridge, the daughter of Rienold J. and Emeila Fischer Borth.

She was a graduate of Hutchinson High School and a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. Alice was a drapery seamstress and a homemaker.

On October 6, 1946, she married Charles Leon Blew in Hutchinson. He preceded her in death. She was married to Arnold Willems. He survives. Other survivors include: children and their spouses, Bonnie and Jim Enns-Probst, Wichita, Juanita Lambert, Butte, Montana, Trudy and Bob Riley, Hutchinson, Charles Ray Blew, Castleton, and Mary Alice Blew, Lee's Summit, Missouri; a sister, Linda and Victor Zerger, South Hutchinson; a sister-in-law, Pearl Borth, Arlington; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandson. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Ben, Ed and Al Borth and two sisters, Freida Robinette and Olga Unruh.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, August 22, 2013, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Hutchinson, with Pastor Chad Trunkhill officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday with the family present 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Darlow. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church (Sunday School Fund), in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
