Donna L. Tenney, age 52, of Woodbury, Senior Director of Community Programs for Catholic Charities of Fairfield County, died Sunday, August 14, 2005, at Covenant Hospital, Waterloo, Iowa from injuries received in a motorcycle accident near Steamboat Rock, Iowa. Ms. Tenney was with her longtime companion, Douglas Lyle, returning from Sturgis, SD, where they had attended a motorcycle rally.

Donna was born in Danbury, on March 3, 1953, a daughter of Edith (Berglund) Tenney of Sandy Hook section of Newtown and the late Donald H. Tenney.

In addition to her mother, Donna is survived by two brothers, James Tenney and his wife, Pat and Steven Tenney, all of Sandy Hook; a sister, Judy Martinez of Roxbury; her nieces and nephews, Pam Quist, Christine Kirschenbaum, Lyn Stewart, Brian and Kelly Tenney; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Interment in Zoar Cemetery.
