George E. Gellock
George Elwood Gellock, of 60 Prospect Ave., Irvington, died yesterday at Beth Israel Hospital of a short illness. He was 86. Born in Phillipsburg, he lived in Newark before moving to Irvington in 1929. His late wife was Mrs. Mary E. Gill Gellock.
Mr. Gellock had been a conductor with the Pennsylvania Railroad before going with the American Abrasive Metals Co., Irvington, in 1922. He was employed there as a drill press operator and retired in 1951.
He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Irvington, and the 100-Year Club of Neward.
He leaves three daughters, one in Irvington, with whom he lived; one of Phillipsburg, and one of Newark; five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Relatives, friends, and members of the Church of the Redeemer of Irvington are kindly invited to attend the funeral services on Saturday, June 29 at 1:30 P.M. at the Manger Home for Funerals, 1200 Clinton avenue, corner Orange avenue, two blocks above Irvington Center. Interment in Phillipsburg Cemetery.
