CHARLES SEXTON

Charles Sexton died on July 3, 2013 in Portland, Oregon at the age of 63. Charles was born on August 4, 1949 in Portland, Oregon to Claude and Mamie (Howard) Sexton.

Charles graduated from Gresham High School in 1967. He was a member of the Eagle Creek Rod and Reel Gun Club, Gresham Elks and Gresham Eagles and the NRA.

Charles was a Journeyman Carpenter, worked at Buzz Gilbert Tires and then Les Schwab Tires, Fred Meyer and at LSI (a semi-conductor company).

Charles enjoyed fishing and gun target practicing, ham radio operator, flower gardening, his ford pick-up, camping on the Deshutes River and socializing. He was a no-nonsense honest man.

Celebration of Charles's life with potluck will be on Sunday, August 4th at 1 pm at Blue Lake Park in shelter 1. Private entombment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Gresham.

Charles is survived by his partner Sharon Starr and his bestest little buddy Rusty Barber, and daughters Tina Green and Tammy Petricevic.
