Roman 'Pete" Brunswick, 57, of 1744 Linden, an employe in the sales department of Tom Bell Chevrolet Co. for 25 years and a pitcher with the old Memphis Chicks baseball club, died at 3:55 p.m. yesterday at Methodist Hospital. Mr. Brunswick played professional baseball with the St. Louis Cardinals organization in Houston, Texas, and later, with the Chicago White Sox organization. He had a 12-0 won-lost record one reason with the Chicks in the Class AA Southern Association. He was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church and an Elk. Services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Memphis Funeral Home on Union with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery Midtown. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Jane Brunswick, his father, Albert Brunswick, and two brothers, Robert Brunswick and Harold Brunswick, all of St. Henry, Ohio, and a sister, Mrs. Wilma Jamerson of Chicago.
