He was a retired Major in The United States Air Force and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Greenwood, AR. He was a former teacher at Miles Montana High School. He is survived by his wife Julia of 45 years, 8 sons Paul, John, Donnie, Ronnie, Tommy, David, Markus and Jordan, 4 daughters Kathy, Marki, Tonya and Jenny, 1 brother Al Althoff, 27 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Greenwood, AR. with interment at The U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, AR.
