Obituary:
Carl Pelz, aged 19 years, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Pelz, residing near Auburn and until a year ago, a resident of Fort Wayne, died at 8:30 o'clock this morning at the family home; death being due to Bright's disease following an extended illness. Surviving besides the parents are two brothers and two sisters.

Carl's grandmother, Catherine Barto Magner, also died of Bright's disease in 1901.
Brothers and sisters were: Edward C., Albert J., Sophia, and Lavina.
