Manitowoc - Arlene H. Rehrauer, age 99, a Manitowoc resident, passed away on July 9, 2019, one month short of her 100th birthday, at Maritime Gardens, Manitowoc.

Arlene was born on August 11, 1919 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late George J. and Hilda E. (Mahnke) Sladky. She was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School with the class of 1937. On July 19, 1941 she married Alfred "Al" G. Rehrauer in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on February 6, 1974. Arlene loved children. She enjoyed babysitting for her grandchildren as well as Christopher and Katie Halstrom. Arlene was a member of Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church, Manitowoc.

Survivors include one son: Mark A. (Diane) Rehrauer, Moseley, VA; three daughters: Janice A. (Jim) Decker, Manitowoc, Denise M. (Scott) Boeckman, Appleton, Patti A. (Ron) Wagner, Manitowoc; 13 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was also preceded in death by one grandson: Steven Decker; and one brother: Alvin Sladky.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 12, 2019 at Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Stephen Melso with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Friday, July 12, 2019 at Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church, Manitowoc, from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.

They would also like to thank Compassus Hospice, the owners (Karen and Jerry Vandermause) and staff of Maritime Gardens, especially Judy, RN and care givers Nancy, Connie and Ali for all the care and compassion they have shown to Arlene for the past three years.
